"Memories of you fill my mind, like thousands of bright starts in the sky."

"I only hope that I find someone that treats me as great as my grand-father did her. They were truly my own "notebook" romance Gandparents, I would be lucky to have someone love me half as much as he does....

"I will remember Aunt Donna as such a fun aunt with her infectious laugh that started with that cackle and morphed into a giggle, her love of an outdoor adventure - roasting chickens in hot rocks buried underground in an oven she dug in the middle of the lawn at the farm, her dry sense of humour and sharp wit - for example, when our family was travelling together with yours in one big motor home in Calgary and we passed by cattle at the university grounds pasture and she commented that they must be very intelligent cows to be attending school, or another time ... my one day road trip with her to Oak Lake, Manitoba together when a couple on a motor bike making a cross Canada trip drove up to a gas station and parked beside the picnic table where we were eating our cheeseburgers. I suggested wouldn't it be fun to have the freedom to ride a motorcycle across the country, and she remarked, "you grab the bike, I'll call Rod to let him know!" I can't help but smile when I recount those and other moments."

"Donna was a wonderful person, I so enjoyed her wisdom and her great sense of humour. I am so glad she is now free of the restraints of her life and is soaring with the angels. She was an angel. You truly are blessed to have such an awesome mother & I have a wonderful friend."

"Donna is such an amazing woman. I love her so much. Think I need to go sing "Good morning all you campers". I will never forget her laugh or constant bright outlook on life."
